food
" The monastery inn " was built in 1514 by Abbess Ursula Pfäffinger as an outbuilding. Over the centuries it was remodeled and expanded several times. From 1930 onwards, the "monastery cafe" set up there served as a welcome rest and refreshment place for the numerous pilgrims to the Blessed Irmengard.
Today, the building is leased as a restaurant to the monastery innkeeper, who is geared towards seminar operations and can also meet the highest standards of festive catering.

Living in the Monastery
Simple but comfortable rooms in three categories are available for seminar participants in the monastery. The monastery innkeeper provides meals and offers inexpensive meal subscriptions for all seminar guests. Please remember that our seminar house is an integral part of the Frauenwörth Abbey and is therefore part of the living space of a community of Benedictine nuns. Seminar participants and guests are expected to adapt to this monastic environment and behave considerately.
Our rules state that no one should be disturbed by noise after 9:30 p.m. Smoking is prohibited in the entire seminar area, including the monastery courtyard.
"dress code"
The lake and our mostly beautiful summer tempt you to dress very casually. Please note that swimwear may only be worn on the lakeshore, not in the house or in the monastery courtyard. Also not permitted are sleeveless or crop tops, as well as short shorts or skirts that are too short.
